​What is Kinship Care?
The full-time care, nurturing, and protection of children by: Relatives (through blood, adoption, or marriage); Godparents; Stepparents; or any adult who has a bond that the family recognizes as significant to the child/family.

ICCFS Kinship Care Alliance has the the Pleasure of announcing their new Snohomish County Kinship program.
​
The program includes a support group, outreach activities and virtual workshops for Black and Indigenous Kinship care givers.

Kinship Alliance SnoCo - Saturday Virtual Workshops

The Kinship Alliance provides interactive, educational workshops to strengthen the knowledge and skills of caregivers in King County. These workshops are taught by highly skilled and acclaimed professionals
.
The workshops cover topics such as how to be an Advocate for your child, Self-Care for the Caregiver, Understanding Online Learning, Urgent Help for Students at Home, and more.
*workshops are currently on hold until we find new funding opportunities*
