What is Kinship Care?
The full-time care, nurturing, and protection of children by: Relatives (through blood, adoption, or marriage); Godparents; Stepparents; or any adult who has a bond that the family recognizes as significant to the child/family.
ICCFS Kinship Care Alliance has the the Pleasure of announcing their new Snohomish County Kinship program.
The program includes a support group, outreach activities and virtual workshops for Black and Indigenous Kinship care givers.

Every 4th Thursday from 10:00am -11:30 am at the Carl Gipson Center
Virtual Support Group Every 3rd Saturday from 6:00pm-7:00pm via zoom

Kinship Alliance SnoCo - Saturday Virtual Workshops

The Kinship Alliance provides interactive, educational workshops to strengthen the knowledge and skills of caregivers in King County. Highly skilled and acclaimed professionals teach these workshops
.
The workshops cover topics such as how to be an Advocate for your child, Self-Care for the Caregiver, Understanding Online Learning, Urgent Help for Students at Home, and more.
