Parents as Teachers is an evidence-based home visiting program that promotes the optimal early development, learning, and health of
children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. Parent Educators provide the necessary information and
resources to ensure that parents are confident in the emotional, behavioral and physical development of their children
Each personal visit focuses on Parent-Child Interaction, Development-Centered Parenting and Family Well-Being.
ICCFS Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an Evidence-Based Home Visiting program with a dedicated focus on serving Black and African American pregnant women, fathers, and families with children between the ages of 0-3 years. We are committed to empowering and supporting parents as they navigate the critical early years of their child's development. Here's a detailed overview of the valuable services we offer:
