1...2...3 Jump Kindergarten Readiness Program
Who We Are
The 1..2..3 Jump Kindergarten Readiness Program is a community-designed, parent-driven school readiness program serving families with children ages 3 to 5, including those with and without developmental delays or disabilities. Grounded in relationships and culturally responsive practices, our program helps families create strong early learning foundations that support a successful transition into kindergarten.
Our team is made up of highly trained early childhood educators and local parents with lived experience navigating early learning, child development, and school systems. Together, we provide families with hands-on support, meaningful connections, and guidance tailored to each child’s needs.

Every staff member is culturally and linguistically matched to the communities we serve, ensuring families feel understood, welcomed, and supported throughout their school readiness journey.

Our Four Core Services
We provide four key services that strengthen early learning, promote healthy development, and empower parents and caregivers.

Bridge Forward: System Navigation & Warm Connections
Bridge Forward offers individualized, culturally matched system navigation services for Black, African American, and Hispanic/Latino/a families of children ages 3–5 with developmental delays, disabilities, or special health care needs. Families receive warm handoffs, help accessing services, and guidance to ensure their child gets the support they need to succeed.

Development First: Universal Developmental Screening
Development First empowers parents and caregivers with the knowledge and tools needed to understand and monitor their child’s development. Families receive formal training on the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE) and learn about all areas of early development, helping them identify strengths, respond to concerns, and support healthy growth.

Kindergarten Readiness Support
Our kindergarten readiness service provides children with individualized, play-based learning activities and curriculum tailored to their unique developmental needs. Families receive hands-on guidance and resources to prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for a confident transition into school.

Community Engagement Events
Jump programs bring families together through community-based events that promote connection, advocacy and shared learning. These hybrid gatherings strengthen parent networks, increase access to resources, and build a supportive community where families can grow together.
